Material Profanation ShowDutch Design Week 2022
Toy-Drive is an animated film discussing the significance of the toy car as experienced by a child. It is a symbol that drives societal notions of masculinity, independence, class status and environmental hegemony. The video was presented in a sculptural frame that emulates the toy track of the car that drives in the film. It was shown adjacent to a car in a former autobody shop. This project is a testament to my interest in translating digital stories into the physical realm.
